Visalus Flash Mob Richmond Virginia

Team Take Over out of Richmond VA, participated in Visalus’ world record breaking simultaneous flash mob. We were promoting the companies’ 90 day challenge and living the “Vi-Life” of Life, Health and Prosperity.

Here’s Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton from the Fresh Prince and a Visalus Promoter setting it off at Universal City Walk in Hollywood, CA.

And Here we are representing the RIC with our own unique flavor.

I Challenge You

It was an early weekend in August; I was in Ocean City MD with my 8th grade AAU basketball team. We had just taken an L earlier that day. My wife, lil Fred and my nephew Nicolas accompanied me on the trip. We were short on players and had an extra uniform, so I decided to let Nicolas play. Only problem was that Nicolas just recently started wearing braces and had forgotten his mouthpiece. Now even before the braces, Nick had a tendency to rely far too much on his pretty, but slow release and inconsistent jump shot. I knew that without a mouthpiece the closest he would get to any type of contact would be the handshake at the end of the game. So to eliminate any excuses for him, we decided to go to Wal-Mart and get a mouthpiece.

I remember it like yesterday! I had just parked my truck and was on my way into the store when my phone rang. It was Carlton, and his exact words were, “I think I’m going to give Cedrick Harris a call.” We had followed Cedrick on-line for about 2 years and were on his Lead System Pro list. He was documented as one of the most successful online and offline marketers in the game (If you Google him, have a lot of time on your hands). When I asked CJ, “Why call him, what’s he going to teach us?” CJ’s response was, “I don’t know, but we’ve been in the game too long to not be making more money than we are making.” This was definitely true! So I said, “Go ahead C, give him a call and let me know what he’s talking about.” Nick and I went into Wal-Mart and found a mouthpiece (I think Nick got ‘em for like 12 points that next game).

Carlton gives me a call later saying “Ced left Numis and jumped to this company called Visalus …..I’m like r u serious? Who in their right mind would be the #2 money earner in a company and leave? Carlton was excited and just kept saying, “Man you have to talk to him.” Now my little brother has been known to be easily excitable; so while I was eager to hear what Ced had to say, I took it all with a grain of salt. Carlton put me on the phone with Cedrick that following Tuesday evening, and Ced shared some facts about his background that I didn’t know. He discussed how internet marketing had changed over the past two years and he talked about the timing of Visalus and how it pertained to Richmond in particular. He basically ‘Ced some light on the situation’ you heard that here first. Cedrick let me know that he would be in Richmond on Thursday and we could all sit down for lunch.

That Thursday, I drove from Md to Richmond and met with Carlton, Cedrick and our good friend Ron at Champs in Stony Point. Over the next 4 hours, Cedrick explained to us in detail why he joined Visalus, what was so unique about the behavior inside of the company,  and why the company was on steroids and  growing virally like nothing he had seen before. We never stood a chance – he’s that good of a closer. I’ve not been the same since. I got home that night, and had trouble sleeping. My restlessness was in part due to the excitement of potentially being one of the first to bring Visalus to Richmond and work personally with Cedrick. But it was more so due to me trying to figure out a way to ask/tell my wife I was getting ready to drop 5 bills on ‘another opportunity.’ I think I woke up and made her my signature smoked turkey with sautéed green peppers, onions & cheese omelet. I sprung it on her, let her talk to her wonderful brother in law Carlton, got her blessing and we went to Cedrick’s website and signed up. No long debate, no aneurism, no clinical trials, no focus groups, no market analysis or any of that other stuff that procrastinators do instead of making a decision. We dove in. We’ve never had a problem pulling the trigger when we saw something that looked good. If you believe, JUMP……find a parachute on your way down.

Well that was August 12, and as of the time of this blog post, it has been exactly 2 months to the date. What’s happening before our eyes is literally sick! We qualified for the BMW (expecting a few more by Thanksgiving), and we have assembled an absolutely awesome team of leaders who are just as crazy as we are (probably even more). Not to mention, we are being mentored daily and have full access to the vault and Ced’s secret bag of tricks. I’ll say it again.

“He Ced some light on the situation.”

I thank Carlton every day, because that one call changed everything for us.

Listen to why Visalus is catching the attention of net-workers and top earners around the country.

Visalus CEO Ryan Blair and Master P

When we found out the type of leadership we had, we knew we were in the right place. Ryan is a Russel Simmons style CEO. Tatted up, jeans hats to board meetings. His book is on all of the best seller lists. And he’s donating all of the proceeds from his book to Master P’s Charity. Now that’s the type of leadership I want to be a part of.
